Encyclopedia of Bottles #7

This is one of my favourite spreads in the sketchbook. I love trees and I love drawing trees. Morphing bottles into trees was fun too, really.

  1. "I THINK that I shall never see
    A poem lovely as a tree.

    A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
    Against the sweet earth's flowing breast;

    A tree that looks at God all day,
    And lifts her leafy arms to pray;

    A tree that may in summer wear
    A nest of robins in her hair;

    Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
    Who intimately lives with rain.

    Poems are made by fools like me,
    But only God can make a tree."- Kilmer

    One of my favorite poems...and quite appropriate for the theme I think...

  2. I think that I shall never see
    A billboard lovely as a tree.
    Indeed, unless the billboards fall
    I'll never see a tree at all
    - Ogden Nash

    I love these lines too :)
